Oil Burner Installation

Notification of the installation of an oil burner must be made to this office prior to the actual installation via the online permitting portal. A member of the Fire Prevention Division will contact the homeowner to schedule an inspection. When making your appointment, know that:

• Home Fire Alarm and Oil Burner inspections in new homes are done at the same time.
• It is the responsibility of the homeowner or the installer to make an appointment with this department for an inspection.
• Only a licensed oil burner technician may install your system.
