The Mansfield Emergency Management Agency is charged with the overall “Emergency Preparedness Planning” for the Town of Mansfield. This includes the coordination of all resources of the Town, public and private, professional and volunteer, to avert or combat the effects of disaster. A pool of trained volunteers is provided to the Town in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
The Mansfield Emergency Management Agency is a group of trained volunteers that provide to the Town of Mansfield in both emergency and non-emergency operations. The Emergency Operations Center is located at:

This location houses our communications and operations center as well as training and meeting rooms located on the second floor and our communications center located on the first floor of this facility. Also at this location is the fleet of emergency vehicles which consist of eight units for communications, emergency transport, Shelter Operations, Special operations, mobile power and lighting units.
The Agency is divided into four operational units and members may belong to one or more of them.
Operations review and update the emergency plans and resource inventories for the town. Also provides operational support during events.
Communications operations include amateur and citizen band radio operators who provide communications during events. For those with an interest in Amateur Radio, we will provide classes to help you obtain your license.
Engineering operations provide equipment maintenance and acquisition.
Administrative operations consists of management of the affairs of the organization and day to day clerical operations.
