The Human Resources Department is responsible for directing a variety of critical functions for the Town. This includes managing the following:

  • Administration of classification and salary plans for all Town employees
  • Administration of safety and workers’ compensation programs
  • Benefit Design and Implementation
  • Employee training, management training and professional development
  • Employment/Staffing
  • Labor and Employee Relations
  • Maintenance of all employee records
  • Policy Creation, Practice and Education

Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act  (HIPAA)

The HIPAA privacy rule gives an individual rights over how their health information may be used or disclosed and protects the unauthorized disclosure of certain medical information known as protected health information (PHI).
