1986 Special Town Meeting, when it acted pursuant to section 7A of chapter 32B
of the general laws:
"pay a subsidiary or additional rate
of (20%) Twenty percent on the premium for the present Contributory Health
Insurance Plan, making a total of Eighty (80%) percent of the premium for the
present Contributory Health Insurance, effective July 1, 1986, and transfer
from available funds, the sum of Two hundred twenty-five thousand ($225,000)
dollars for the purpose of the article, or take any action in relation
thereto,"
and to
allow the Town to comply with any laws or collective bargaining agreements
which may apply as regards potential changes to the contribution rates, pass
any vote, or take any action in relation thereto.

1986 Special Town Meeting, when it acted pursuant to section 9E of chapter 32B
of the general laws:
"pay a subsidiary or additional rate
of thirty percent (30%) on the premium for the present Contributory Health
Insurance Plan, making a total of eighty percent (80%), and to become effective
January 1, 1987, or take any action in relation thereto,"
and to
allow the Town to comply with any laws or collective bargaining agreements
which may apply as regards potential changes to the contribution rates, pass
any vote or take any action in relation thereto provided that the contribution
percentages assessed to retirees shall be no higher than those paid by Town
employees, or take any action in relation thereto.
