|The Mansfield Municipal Building Committee is composed of five committee members appointed by the Board of Selectman. Each member is appointed to a five-year term, arranged in such a way that the terms of as near equal number of members as possible expire each year.
The Municipal Building Committee is responsible for developing planning reports, oversight of design plans and specifications, construction management and originally equipping all municipal and school building projects requiring structural alteration or new building construction.

- Memorial Hall: Request for Qualifications for Architectural Services for building condition study (RFQ is out to bid and an award will be made in August 2013)
- Public Safety / DPW New Facility: Construction of a new combination Police and Fire Department facility including administrative headquarters for both departments, support areas, apparatus bays and fire department sleeping quarters. Construction of a new Public Works administrative facility with maintenance, repair and garage facilities to support DPW operations. Presentation from BOS meeting 4/27/16 (The design and engineering phase has been completed and the project is going out to bid early Fall of 2016.)
- Capital Projects: Town Meeting approved several capital projects. The MBC is reviewing projects’ documentation and will work with the appropriate departments to schedule accordingly.
