Regardless of the severity level of the upcoming storm Irene, the Town Manager urges the residents to get familiar with the following precaution measures and manner of action before, during and after this and future storms:

 - Items for personal preparedness prior to the storm

 - Response during and after the storm

VERIZON STORM PREPARATION NOTICE: Please read the detailed instructions. Some tips are given below.

 - consider getting an inexpensive hard-wired phone that plugs directly into your home’s wall jacks

 - charge all battery-powered devices before the storm hits

 - top off all vehicle and generator fuel tanks before the storm
