MANSFIELD EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY

Membership


There are 86 active members at the present time.  Membership is open to anyone of good moral character age 16 or older.  A junior membership is offered to those 13 to 15 years of age.  Applicants age 13 to 17 must have written parents' consent.  All members are required to swear to a Federal Oath of Allegiance.

All applications for membership must be made in writing on a form provided by the Emergency Management Director and returned to the Director.

Residency is not a requirement and we encourage those who live outside of Mansfield to volunteer within their own community.

Training and continuing education is provided to active members as funds permit at no cost to the member.

Active members receive both long and short sleeve uniform shirts, a badge, and an ID card which remain property of the Town of Mansfield Emergency management Agency.

Monthly meetings are held on an alternating schedule on either the first Monday or first Tuesday of each month, September through June, in the Emergency Man
